Why "Mostly Magic"?

This website honors a Greenwich Village, New York magic club from the pre-2000 era called "Mostly Magic."

Magic greats of the day like Daryl and Eric DeCamps performed there. Magic Legends of All Time like Slydini performed there as well.

Mike saw and was inspired by all three.

Why "Mike of Oberlin"?

Factually, this is true. Mike grew up in this small northern Ohio town. And was fortunate to have family and friends that are the source of many fond memories and show up as topics in his performances.

Unfortunately, living in turbulent times, Mike has seen many of those relationships wither.

Ironically, it makes Mike want to embrace this childhood home all the more.
